Asiera delivers high-speed internet connectivity and IT shared services to all levels of the Irish education sector and connects Irish researchers to fellow national educational and research networks in Europe, the USA and the rest of the world.

A key strategic goal for Asiera is to work closely with the research community to

• support the development of Research Infrastructures
• foster collaborations and access to funding opportunities
• facilitate access to opportunities for advancing Open Science and Research Data Management in Irish universities, Institutes of Technology and research centres in general.
