Join Us for the First Asiera CTAC Threat Briefing

Following the successful launch of Asiera’s Cyber Threat Analysis Centre (CTAC) in April, we are pleased to announce the first CTAC Threat Briefing, the inaugural session in a new quarterly webinar series designed to keep Ireland’s Education and Research community informed about the latest cybersecurity threats and emerging risks.

These regular briefings will provide timely intelligence on the evolving cyber threat landscape across Ireland and Europe, alongside an in-depth exploration of current attack techniques and threat mechanics. Each session combines strategic insight with technical expertise, helping organisations strengthen their understanding of the challenges facing the sector and improve their cyber resilience.

Designed for anyone with an interest in cybersecurity within the Education and Research community, the briefings will include:

  • An overview of the latest cyber threats impacting the Education and Research sector in Ireland and across Europe.
  • Strategic and technical threat intelligence from the Asiera Security Operations Team.
  • Insights and lessons learned from recent incidents affecting the sector.
  • A focused “Deep Dive” into an emerging attack technique or cyber threat.

About CTAC

The Cyber Threat Analysis Centre (CTAC) is delivered by the Asiera Security Operations Team and provides proactive, sector-specific threat intelligence to Education and Research organisations across Ireland.

CTAC supports clients by monitoring indicators of compromise and cyber-attacks, issuing targeted security advisories, assisting with investigations, and delivering services including threat modelling, threat hunting and threat actor profiling. Its mission is to help organisations detect, understand, and respond to cyber threats before they become incidents.
