Asiera Conference 2026 | Invites You to Submit Your Talk
The inaugural Asiera Conference 2026 arrives at an important time for the research, education, and digital infrastructure community. Formerly known as the HEAnet Conference, first established in 2001, returning to the Great Southern Hotel in Killarney, Tuesday, November 3, to Thursday, November 5th, this year.
This event has long been recognised as Ireland’s leading conference for the education and research sector. As the community addresses growing challenges across cybersecurity, sustainability, data, skills, and international collaboration, the first Asiera programme will play an important role in defining the conference’s future direction.
Submitting a talk is therefore not only an opportunity to showcase your work, but also to help shape a new forum for shared expertise and discussion. The topics and speakers selected for this first edition will influence the standards, priorities, and technical depth that future Asiera events will build upon.
Asiera Conference 2026 will bring together technologists, researchers, educators, policy stakeholders, and network operators. Presenting to this audience offers the opportunity to engage with peers who understand both the technical and strategic challenges facing the sector, while contributing to conversations that will influence the future development of research and education infrastructure, we welcome your participation.
