Supporting the wellbeing, inclusion and development of our people remains a key priority at Asiera. Throughout the quarter, colleagues participated in a range of initiatives that promoted health and wellbeing, financial awareness, diversity and inclusion, volunteering, and community engagement.
Fitness and Nutrition
As part of our Q3 wellbeing programme, we focused on fitness and nutrition through a series of initiatives designed to support colleagues on their health and wellbeing journey.
Practical resources, expert guidance, and wellbeing support encouraged employees to build healthy habits and work towards their personal health and fitness goals. Our thanks to Positive Nutrition and Perpetua Fitness for partnering with us throughout the programme.
Tax Saver FAQ Webinar
Colleagues were invited to attend a Tax Saver information webinar, where they learned how to maximize travel savings as part of their financial planning, understand the different ticket options available, and make informed commuting choices that support sustainability.
Skin Cancer Awareness Webinar
Asiera welcomed Kevin O’Hagan, Cancer Prevention Manager at the Irish Cancer Society, to our office in June to deliver an awareness session on sun safety, skin cancer prevention, and protective measures. With the fantastic weather we’ve been enjoying and many colleagues heading off on their summer holidays, it couldn’t have come at a better time. A big thank you to Kevin and the Irish Cancer Society for delivering such an informative session, helping to raise awareness and encourage healthier sun-safe habits among our colleagues.
National Diversity and Inclusion Day Celebration
To celebrate National Diversity & Inclusion Day, colleagues came together for a multicultural potluck lunch, sharing dishes from their countries of origin and celebrating the rich diversity within our organisation. The event provided a wonderful opportunity to connect, learn about different cultures, and strengthen our inclusive workplace community.
Pride Month Celebrations
Throughout Pride Month, Asiera’s Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Council hosted an Empowered Allies Workshop in partnership with ShoutOut, equipping colleagues with practical guidance on becoming active and supportive allies to the LGBTQ+ community. Pride flags were displayed across our offices, and colleagues proudly wore Pride pins as visible symbols of inclusion, allyship and our ongoing commitment to fostering a workplace where everyone feels valued, respected and supported.
