Asiera is delighted to collaborate with Munster Technological University (MTU) on the Cyber Safety initiative, supporting local communities across Ireland by helping individuals develop the confidence and skills needed to navigate the online world safely.

The Cyber Safety programme aims to provide inclusive and accessible resources, guidance and training to empower people to protect themselves online and feel more confident using digital technologies. The initiative was established to address the need for tailored support for people navigating an increasingly digital world, with a particular focus on supporting vulnerable groups, including older adults and individuals with disabilities.

As part of the national Skills for Life programme, delivered through Ireland’s public libraries, Asiera has worked with MTU to bring Cyber Safety workshops directly into local communities.

Reflecting Asiera’s core values of Accountability, Innovation, Excellence and Collaboration, volunteers from across the organisation have generously contributed their time and expertise to support the delivery of these workshops. By working together with MTU and local library services, Asiera is helping to make digital safety education more accessible and ensuring communities have the knowledge and confidence to engage safely online.
