A significant milestone was reached as Asiera was recognised under the Healthy Ireland Workplace Programme, a national initiative focused on advancing health and wellbeing across organisations. Following a comprehensive assessment, the organisation was invited to attend the Healthy Workplaces Programme Celebration Event at the Department of Health on 14 April 2026.
This recognition highlights the structured and meaningful efforts undertaken to create a supportive and health-focused working environment. It also reinforces Asiera’s role as a leader in embedding wellbeing into organisational culture.

Workplace Wellbeing Week

This national initiative, led by Ibec’s KeepWell programme, emphasises the importance of social, mental, and physical wellbeing, particularly within diverse and intergenerational workplaces.

Throughout the week, a range of activities were organised to engage and support staff, including yoga sessions, mindfulness painting, healthy catering options, and broader physical wellness supports. These initiatives were not only well received but demonstrated a thoughtful approach to fostering connection and inclusion across teams.

To support practical wellbeing beyond the office, mini first aid kits were distributed to employees, ensuring access to essential supplies while on the move. This initiative reflects a pragmatic and proactive approach to health and safety.

Celebrating Together: St. Patrick’s Staff Gathering

Community and culture were also celebrated during a St. Patrick’s-themed All Staff Meeting on 24 March 2026. Organised by the EDI Council, the event brought colleagues together in a vibrant and inclusive way.

Staff embraced the occasion with green attire, themed refreshments including smoothies and cupcakes, traditional seanfhocail, and a lively treasure hunt. The event served as a reminder that shared experiences play an important role in strengthening workplace connection.

Advancing Inclusion: Neuroinclusion Policy

Further progress was made in strengthening inclusive practices with the introduction of the Neuroinclusion Policy on 27 April 2026. Developed by the EDI Council and supported by Executive leadership and People Operations, this policy marks a meaningful step in enhancing Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion across the organisation.

The policy aims to ensure that all employees are supported with dignity, respect, and understanding, while recognising diverse cognitive needs. Its launch was accompanied by an educational webinar delivered in collaboration with ASIAM, featuring Ciara Dalton. In addition, practical supports such as noise-cancelling headsets have been made available to staff where needed.
